Eyelash Extensions

I absolutely love doing eyelash extensions. It is tedious, but the outcome is so much fun! here are some pictures of my most recent clients:

These lashes are semi-permanent. meaning they will shed with your normal shedding of your lashes. They are SO fun, you never have to put mascara on and you always have thicker, longer, darker lashes. I wear them and absolutely LOVE them!! email me for pricing details :)

It is ideal for clients with curly, frizzy, or hard to manage hair. It cuts blow drying time significantly. It almost eliminates any flat-ironing completely. flat irons.

by special request i am going to spill my knowledge and the knowledge of my co-workers and students on the use of flat irons and products that go with them! (if anyone ever wants tips on anything let me know!)First of all a good flat iron makes all the difference in the world. when buying a flat iron make sure to look for the following things; heat settings (so you can control the temp), ceramic or tourmaline (both do about the same thing), and do your research! some people prefer different kinds, by personal preference my three favorite right now are 1.GHD 2.Babyliss 3.Infrashine. after you have the straightener you need a product to protect your hair from the heat, to give a barrier! would you put sunscreen on your first day in hawaii?! hopefully you would! so why wouldn't you want to protect your hair the same way you protect your skin! just because you can't feel your hair burning, you can see the effects. In a survey i conducted with my students here are some of the favorites!

redken smooth down heat glide

Redken Fabricate

GHD thermal

Beyond the zone Turn up the heat
A thermal protector is a thermal protector- whatever kind you are using is GREAT. just as long as you are using one!! these are just to name a few of the students/my favorites! There are also several products that contain thermal protectants but are noted as 'blow dry lotion' such as satinwear by redken and brilliantine by B&B and other blowdry lotions that will work.
now we have our straightener and we have our product on, now its time for the heat setting to be set. This is determined upon your hair type/texture/condition. the rule is, use it on the LOWEST setting that you possibly can. it should be LOWEST for bleached, damaged, dry, brittle thin hair, and should progressively be hotter the better condition, texture, and thickness. also if your hair is curly, coarse or unruly it should be on the lowest setting you can use, which will tend to be hotter than fine/damaged hair setting! Any points i missed or questions you may still have.. let me know!!! xoxo!!
